JGA AB
The company JGA was founded by Johan Gustaf Andersson in the year 1928. Since its incorporation in the 1950s the company has continued to grow on the efforts of the dedicated people both in production and management alike. Today JGA is manged by the forth generation of the Andersson family and has remained a fully family owned bussines.
JGA produces 250,000 m³ timber per annum using 400,000 m³fub of raw material supplied by private forest owners and other suppliers located in south Sweden. This makes JGA one of the largest, privately owned sawmills in the south of Sweden.
The timber is mainly supplied to industries and retail outlets in Sweden and Europe. About 70% is exported mainly to Denmark, Holland, Poland and United Kingdom.
JGA is certified according to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The company also has PEFC and FSC® certification.

The OMA Group
JGA is a part of the OMA group of companies. A company group operating in several areas of the forest industry all over the south of Sweden.
O M Andersson AB is the parent company of the OMA Group. In total the turnover of the OMA Group exceeds SEK 800 million and the group employs around 130 people.
The OMA Group consists of the following five companies:
- J G Anderssons Söner AB, the sawmill, founded in 1928.
- JGA Skog AB, the purchasing company responsible for the raw material supplies to the sawmill.
- JGA Emballage AB, a manufacturer of pallets and wooden packing case components.
- Skånetimmer AB, A felling organisation, operating in the south and south western part of Sweden, involved in the purchasing and trading of logs.
- Skånetimmer Bioenergi AB, a company trading in biomass and biofuels.

JGA Skog AB
JGA Skog AB buys 400,000 m³fub of raw material annually and handles all activity concerning procurement of raw materials, forestry, transportation, stock holding of raw material and other forestry related matters.
The company employs four purchasers with comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of forestry care and maintenance. We pride ourselves in exceeding the expectations placed on us by the forest owners that put their forest in our hands.

JGA Emballage runs a highly automated manufacturing process for high quality wooden packaging. A cost efficient production and just in time deliveries gives the company a leading position in the market.
